THE BASICS

A few ways in.

  1. Press play. Hear a four-bar combination of the three records. Use A, B, and C in each row to choose its source. Solo hears one part at a time; click it again to return to the mix.
  2. Shuffle the records. Lock any sleeves you want to keep, then shuffle the rest. Two locked records means one new record; one locked means two new records; none locked means three. Shuffle below an individual sleeve replaces only that unlocked record.
  3. Pull FLIP remixes parts from the three records already in your crate. Keep preserves an individual part, even if its source record later leaves the crate. Sound settings controls how many parts change.
  4. Chop a part. Choose an instrument and press New chops. Eight new cuts load directly onto pads 1–8 and form that instrument’s loop. Other parts stay unchanged. During playback, the new loop enters on the next bar; while stopped, press Play to hear it. Click a pad or press keys 1–8 to play an individual cut. Press Record 4 bars for a four-beat count-in, then play the pads to record your own pattern. Arrange opens the hit editor and section arranger. Release Keep before making new random chops.
  5. Keep a part to preserve its source, phrase, and pattern through FLIP. You can still choose a new source yourself. Undo restores earlier versions.
  6. Write to this holds the combination and leaves out sampled voices. Save your lyric notes with the take.
  7. Arrange your idea. Edit pad hits on the four-bar grid. Keep a pattern, then drag its sections into order, repeat sections, or switch parts off. Kept patterns are snapshots: record shuffle and New chops do not rewrite them.
  8. Save or download. Try a member preview to save an editable track with a listening preview, download a loop or arrangement WAV, or export aligned parts and chop banks. This preview does not take payments or save to the cloud.

Using your own audio

Import separate audio files for the parts you already have. The optional separation server can split a complete recording when its AudioShake connection is configured. This standalone build includes real demo stems; it does not pretend to separate a full song on your device.

Tempo and tuning

The demo records share 88 BPM and D minor. Tape speed changes timing and pitch together. Imported stems need their original BPM and aligned starts; this version does not automatically detect or correct keys, chord changes, or drifting tempo.

About the demo music

The sessions, performers, and artwork are fictional. All demo audio was synthesized for LoDopemine. You can use these original demo sounds in your own musical experiments. Imported audio retains its own source permissions.

Keys: Space plays or stops; R flips; C chops; Z goes back; 1–8 audition slices of the selected stem. Shortcuts pause while you are typing or using a dialog. A queued change enters at a musical boundary. Saves are local to this browser; export a backup for anything you want to keep.

SAVE SESSION

Keep this version.

Your mix, kept patterns, arrangement, and notes will be saved in this browser. A short audio preview is saved when browser storage allows.

EXPORT

Take it with you.

Export the combination you’ve made. Mix settings, chops, mutes, and writing mode are included.

WAV exports are 16-bit stereo. The demo sources are 16–24 kHz original synthesis. Higher export rates do not add detail to the source.

YOUR AUDIO

Add your sounds.

Choose at least one part. Files should share the same start point and original tempo. WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A, or OGG supported where your browser can decode them. Maximum 50 MB total.

Stem files stay on your device. Match the source key yourself; the machine uses tape-style tempo matching.
